We, at Ardrossan Veterinary Clinic, have been given the opportunity to come to your homes to provide veterinary care for your pets while we waited for our new building to be operational. During that time, we saw the benefit this service provided our less mobile clients and their travel adverse pets (especially barn cats). It also gave us the ability to see the environment your pets live in and make observations that are not always possible in the clinic setting. We have opted to try and keep this service going once our building is up and running. This will require expanding our staff base to allow for a Veterinarian and Technologist to go out and perform the following services on a semi regular basis:
- Full health exams
- Vaccines with internal and external parasite control
- Bloodwork, Urinalysis and Cytology
- Nail trims and Microchip Implantation
- In-home Euthanasia
The availability of these appointments will be based on staffing and demand and is not a guaranteed service at this time.
